When you are first starting out with the Formation app, you'll need to create campaigns from scratch. (After you've completed a few campaigns, we encourage you to use completed campaigns whenever possible to improve optimization.)
To create a new campaign:

1. From the Nav panel, click Create Campaign. |

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click + Create a New Campaign. |

3. Fill out the Campaign Details fields |
Campaign Name: Provide a unique Campaign name in your desired naming convention. Description: Provide a brief summary of your Campaign that will convey details on the objective or specifics of specific configurations. Objective: Select one of the available objectives NOTE: for Personalized configurations, the objective selected will inform which optimization models are leveraged for offer assignment. Audience: Select which of your ingested audiences you would like to target with this Campaign. |

4. Set the Campaign Schedule by selecting start and end dates. NOTE: Start and end times begin and end at midnight on the dates selected by default. |

5. Click Save & Add Offers. |
6. When adding offers to your Campaign, you are able to select previously used offer configurations or create new ones to select any offer type and configure it from scratch. Check out the articles on how to use completed offers or create new offers for more information. |

7. Once you have added all of your desired offers, and have selected Submit Campaign for Review, you will be directed to the Campaign Finalize screen. From here, you will be asked to provide Default Values for each of the offer types utilized in your Campaign. This will ensure that all targeted customers will receive an offer, even if they do not have enough transaction history for a personalized offer. |

8. With default values provided, select Submit for Review. |
