Create an API Key

Once you have access to the Formation app with the Integrations persmissions, you can create an API key:

1. Go to Your Organization > Integrations > API Keys.
2. Click Create API Key.
3. Type a name for your API key, then click Generate API Key.
4. Click Copy Key Value, then paste and save the key value in a secure location.*
5. Return to the Formation app and click Done.

Any application or person using this API key now has access to read & write to/from any Formation API.

*Your generated API key value is private and should be copied/pasted and saved somewhere safe. Once the key value is generated, it can only be displayed once for security reasons.
